Brand Assessment

Born and raised in Austin, Texas Twin Liquors has been a spirits staple since 1937. Upon walking through the door customers are immediately greeted and asked what they can be helped with—that’s what Twin Liquors does best. Assisting and educating their customers, Twin Liquors is passionate about creating the best experience for every patron.

Brand Development Strategy

Throughout our research of interviews, blogs, and user experience; we discovered that Twin Liquors passion and knowledge was not being showcased to the caliber of their expertise reached. Our goal was to create an updated brand experience through designing and organizing an in-depth website while also refreshing the brand with a new logo and color palette.

Brand Components

A staple in the spirits industry since 1937, the new tagline highlights Twin Liquors’ two most important aspects of their company: Knowledge and History.

Our logo is a modern reference to rustic signage and emblems found commonly in the south. Paying homage to their Austin roots the logo includes accents such as a Texas icon, and the year Twin Liquors came to be. The texture applied to the logo is a feature found through our branding and assets, this creates consistency throughout the brand.

The photo style implements high contrast images with soft focus backgrounds and subtle lighting. The images focus on the human and social side of Twin Liquor’s interaction with their customers. The Twin Liquors color palette creates a feeling of elegance through the use of dark sophisticated colors. With the application of blues, greys, and purple; we reference wine and spirits in a seamless way.

In-Store Kiosk

The kiosk expands Twin Liquors’ website into its stores. With a simplified format, it will focus on the store’s inventory, specials, and upcoming events. Guests can quickly look through the store catalog, or take a glance at the in store specials. They could then message a custom shopping list to themselves to assist in their in-store browsing.

e-blasts

Twin Liquors customers are able to have “Pitcher Perfect” celebrations through our event consultation service. Customers are able to schedule consultations online, in-person, or through the phone. Once scheduled customers are able to sample, budget, and plan for all of their

Consultation Deliverables

Twin Liquors customers are able to have “Pitcher Perfect” celebrations through our event consultation service. Customers are able to schedule consultations online, in-person, or through the phone. Once scheduled customers are able to sample, budget, and plan for all of their beverage needs with the help of one of our event coordinators. At the end of their appointment customers are provided with a nice folder containing their beverage summary.
